The sports flying club “Otto Lilienthal” e.V. Finsterwalde, located at the “Heinrichsruh” airfield, which was built in 1932, provides flying in gliders and motorised aircraft. The fleet includes seven gliders, two motor-powered aircraft, a motor-powered glider and a microlight. Apart from flying instruction in gliders, the association is currently preparing for flying instruction in motor-powered gliders. It is also possible to book scenic trips in a glider or motor-powered aircraft at short notice or by telephone, depending on the weather and capacity.
