The historic mill buildings now house the school field trip centre. The premises are ideal for groups of children and young people, clubs, further education trips and family breaks. The house can accommodate up to 60 people in shared rooms, with extra beds enabling it to accommodate up to 70. There are twin, four and six-bed rooms available. Toilets, bathroom facilities and shower rooms are located on each floor.

The building also has four group rooms. The field centre has a small and a large dining hall that can also be used as seminar and conference rooms. Both are equipped with modern media equipment including television, video, Hi-fi and overhead projectors.

The extensive outdoor area includes large meadows, sports grounds, a barbecue area and playgrounds. There is also a campsite if visitors would prefer to camp. There are numerous destinations for a day out for an exciting day programme within easy reach in the surrounding area.
