The extensive farm with suckler cows, a Hereford and Angus beef herd, its own abattoir and direct beef sales is in Hohe Fläming, not far from Potsdam, Berlin and the city of Brandenburg an der Havel. In addition to this Icelandic horses are lovingly and carefully bread at the Icelandic horse stud. Reliable recreational horses that are also available to buy delight visitors, breeders and buyers equally. The landscape is characterised by expansive meadows and pastures. These are extensively managed without the use of pesticides, herbicides or nitrogen fertilisers.

The beef herd is kept on the pastures all year. The cows are not milked but rather keep their calves until they are about nine months old. This species-appropriate, stress-free method of farming saves on the overuse of medication. The bulls are slaughtered at about 15-23 months. Beef produced in this way is exceptionally lean and free of antibiotics and other artificial additives. Because the animals are constantly in motion, the muscle flesh is exceptionally tender and top quality in terms of taste too.

Availability may vary because of the method of farming. Please inquire about availability by telephone or e-mail and if possible order the meat you want in advance. The products can be collected from the farm.
