At the heart of the village floodplain of Mellensee and 100 metres away from the lake is the listed building housing Eiscafé Angela, featuring a summer garden. The terrace provides a view of the natural monument ‘Preußische Eiche’ (‘Prussian Oak’). The summer garden, in an idyllic spot behind the barn, provides space for approximately 80 people and is open on weekends. There is also a large, green playground. If it’s rainy there are four small, cosy rooms with a total of 60 seats and a play area for little ones. There is plenty of space available for parking. 26 different flavours of home-made ice cream are available, and these can be combined to make over 40 ice-cream creations. Children can put together their own tub of ice cream. Different coffee varieties and home-made cakes and pastries, baked fresh each day, complete the selection. There are also various snack options for those with a smaller appetite.
