The restaurant has mostly been under family ownership since it was built in 1879 – today, it is the sixth generation of the family that cooks for guests. The kitchen offers German cuisine with a strong focus on ingredients and dishes taken from the local region. Parties for up to 120 people can be hosted in various rooms.

If you’re on a bicycle tour around Ludwigsfelde or the Rangsdorf Nature Reserve, you should definitely plan to stop by the Alter Dorfkrug.
