This restaurant offers German home cooking using regional and seasonal ingredients. The building was built back in 1852 but has since been completely rebuilt and expanded to include the countryside hotel and a dining hall with 120 seats. The nearby Flaeming-Skate makes it easy to reach the restaurant on a cycling tour.

From September to April the in-house butcher’s produces ‘Hausmacher sausage’, which is sold at weekly markets and traditional feasts.
