The Gothic-styled Gotisches Haus restaurant in the village district of Paretz is situated opposite the palace and church on the English Park in Ketzin/Havel. Traditional German fare and a seasonal menu are served in the premises of the former royal blacksmith’s forge.

In addition to the front dining area by the counter, there is also a small dining area and a function room for private parties and celebrations. A large beer garden with adjoining playground is the perfect place for cyclists to stop off for lunch or a coffee break in the summer months. A range of different buffets can be ordered for private parties and celebrations.

The Gotisches Haus is built in a Gothic style. The foundation stone is reputed to have been laid back in 1796. The façade with its row of neo-Gothic arched windows is of particular interest. The restaurant is one of the most beautiful buildings in the whole of the Havelland region.
