A holiday to (quite literally) switch off. Lochow, a hidden gem in Brandenburg’s Westhavelland Nature Park, right in the middle of nowhere. Here you can unwind far away from the electrosmog and the hustle and bustle of the city If you’re looking to enjoy some peace and quiet and to observe wild plants and animals, this tiny village with just 10 inhabitants will be perfect for you. Wander or cycle through endless meadows, where you’ll come across storks, grey heron, cranes and bustards. Watch bats’ adventures by the glow of the camp fire. Fishing and bathing in the nearby lake, where two rowing boats await. There is a table tennis table, a children’s seesaw and swing, a sandpit and space galore to play on the ring-fenced property. Lockow is quite simply the epitome of relaxation.
