The Lausitzer Ölmühle was founded in 1924 by Paul Schkommodau in Hoyerswerda and still produces the popular Lausitzer linseed oil. At the traditional location, the linseed is prepared and processed under the management of Mrs. Regine Jorga. In addition to the liquid "Lusatian gold" there is, among other things, a linseed oil cream as a spread, linseed, linseed cake flour, but also pottery or glazes for wood impregnation. Anyone who would like to take a look behind the scenes is welcome to do so as part of a guided tour or a tasting, although advance booking is mandatory for this.
