The restaurant and café in the heart of Forst (Lausitz) serve tasty traditional fare and home-made cake and ice cream creations. The menu includes schnitzel varieties and hearty fried potatoes, as well as regional food such as “Forster Plinze” pancakes and Mediterranean dishes. Freshly baked waffles are available on Fridays, and Wednesdays are dedicated to Plinze pancakes.

There is further seating outside, around the pavilion, with lovely views of the colourful flower beds. The carefully decorated rooms that are bathed in light are also used for events. Regional products and art are also on display, such as crystal from the Lausitz region. A special anniversary recording of the famous local song “Forster Rosenwalzer” is for sale on CD.
