It all began in 1886 with Albert Bittroff's restaurant in the second oldest building on the market square in Senftenberg. In 1932, the restaurant was taken over by Mr Paul Gulben and given the name "St. Hubertus-Klause". With the support of the Senftenberg artist Günter Wendt, the façade graffiti and works of art in the hunting room were created. In 1957, Mr Georg Bsdok bought the inn and ran it successfully until 2021. In 2024, the Bruckmoser family and a great team lovingly restored the inn, salvaged the old treasures and reopened it under the name "Das Hubertus".
