The rural half-timbered house was completely modernised in 2006/2007 and furnished with high-quality and exclusive equipment. The large plot of land and well-kept grounds with a stork's nest are situated directly on the Elbe dyke in the biosphere reserve. The house has a an additional guest toilet, a storage room, an enclosed veranda, a spacious sunbathing lawn, a library and an extensive games collection.

There is also a terrace with garden furniture and four bicycles. The old trees, the direct access to the dyke, the quiet isolated location, the view of the Elbe floodplains and the River Elbe as well as a small herd of sheep and goats make the surrounding area an idyllic place for nature lovers.
