The gas works, which began operations in 1903, still house the fully preserved technology for the production of gas at the time when production started. An exhibition on the history of the gas works and on gas-powered household appliances enriches this unique point of interest. Throughout Europe, there is actually only one other museum of this kind in Greece. This is the last original gas works in Northern Europe. The museum includes gas technology and collectables showcasing Brandenburg's inventive prowess.
