Lake Helenesee owes its nickname „Little Baltic Sea“ to the excellent water quality and mile-long traditional as well as nudist beaches. The camping and recreational park has lots to offer for camping and caravan enthusiasts aas well as in terms of  swimming, diving, surfing, fishing, snorkeling and playing volleyball. Diving enthusiasts will be pleased with an under water visibility of up to 12 meters. Wi-Fi and pedal boats as well as rowing boats for hire are also available. There is a regular event schedule.

In the camping park there are separate areas for families and teenagers. With sufficient sanitary facilities, baby changing room, washing machine room and a barrier-free sanitary area, the facility is prepared for all guests.

UPDATE: the shore area of Lake Helene (incl. beach) is closed until further notice, as landslides have been detected on individual sections of the shore.
