This site for camping and weekend homes is situated amidst the woods, on the banks of a bathing lake with private sand beach and excellent water quality. The camping area lies in the heart of the nature reserve “Schlaubetal“, offering ideal conditions for hikers, cyclists, mushroom pickers and angling enthusiasts. For day trips we recommend visiting the old mills in the Schlaubetal reserve (“Alte Mühlen im Schlaubtal”), the historic monastery (Kloster) in Neuzelle (15 km), the Spreewald Forest (approx. 50 km), the federal capital Berlin (approx. 80 km), the ship canal lift of Niederfinow - a unique technical monument (approx. 90 km) or a shopping trip to neighbouring Poland (15 km). The camping site further comprises a restaurant, café, and a small grocery shop. Aside from the camping pitches, caravans and various bungalows are available for rent.
