Following their studies in the areas of organic agriculture and marketing in Eberswalde, Hanna and Johannes Erz started a farm in Rathstock in the Oderbruch region. They established the business as a part-time enterprise in 2013, and it became their main activity in 2015. The farm has a size of 11 hectares, 3 of which are currently available for their own use. The remaining 8 hectares are leased out until 2018.
