State-of-the-art mowers, ploughs and harrows are operated using the literal horsepower of 6 heavy horses. Seminar participants can learn about the use of working horses and their advantages compared to the usual heavy tractors and machinery.

Rare types of grain (such as Heidegold oats and Arnautka wheat) are grown on the farm. The farm is pioneering when it comes to conserving rare and endangered wild field herbs, and is home to Brandenburg’s first field herb protection area.
