The three lower levels of the historic loading tower accommodate a café, which affords magnificent views of the "Kulturhafen" (cultural harbour) and the Oder river.

The tower also houses an exhibition on the history of the listed port facilities, a holiday apartment and an events room. There is also an open-air area between the harbour wall and the historic railway carriages.

The historic building, which is part of the "Kulturhafen Gross Neuendorf" monument complex, was renovated in 2005. The "Theater im Bahnwaggon" theatre hosts special theatre evenings.
