Neuhardenberg, located between Berlin and the border with Poland to the east, is well known for its classicist ensemble of castle and Schinkel church. The castle and its two cavaliers' houses were refurbished and turned into an international seminar complex, which also hosts exhibitions and concerts. The 17-hectare castle grounds, designed by Peter Joseph Lenné, are perfect for a long walk. Neuhardenberg is a good starting point for exploring the Oderbruch region by bike.
