These gherkin barrels promise a really cosy overnight stay in the heart of the Spreewald – the smallest hotel in the region! The miniature accommodation units measuring 3.30 metres in length with a diameter of 2.10 metres provide a sleeping area for two adults along with a small anteroom – perfect for camping and outdoor fans. Under the double bed there is additional storage space with a lots of capacity, and seating is available, too. A complete bathroom unit with shower, washbasin and toilet is available to guests just a few steps away.

The gherkin barrels are located in the historic town centre of the state-approved resort of Lübbenau. They are only 800 metres from the punting boat harbours. These miniature hotels are an ideal starting point for explorations on foot, by bike, on a punt or in a canoe. Breakfast can be booked in the adjacent restaurant.
