Start: on the beach near by the premises of the former Biberburg Tours (17268 Hindenburg, Templin Dorfstrasse 49, take the turn to the berth on Röddelinsee)

Finish: on the beach near by the premises of the former Biberburg Tours

Route: We start on the beach near by the premises of the former Biberburg Tours. You can stay here in a holiday apartment and rent a wide selection of boats or a beaver’s lodge. The tour starts on Röddelinsee. There is lots to see and experience right from the start. The El Dorado Western City featuring a landing stage is also close by. We then go on from the lake to the Templin canal. Here we are surrounded by nature. There is plenty to see on both shores, such as beaver’s lodges and rare orchids. At the end of the canal we reach the thermal spa resort Templin. The town is well worth a stop, even if you just want to take a look at its pretty historic centre. Once we have passed the lock near Mühlentor, we travel on to Templin’s town lake. From here we can once more enjoy beautiful views of the town. The town lake then meanders past ‘love island’, the former Joachimsthal grammar school and unspoilt nature, until we reach Bruchsee.

A wide range activities and services is available at Templin’s town lake, also on shore. E.g. the public swimming pool "Stadtbad Templin - die Familienfreizeitanlage” are just two examples.

From Bruchsee we can choose between two options. We can either bear left to go on towards Gleuensee. There are good options for overnight stays/camping near the water at Naturcamp Gleuensee.

Or we can keep right to go on towards Fährsee. To enter Fährsee, we continue through the bridge. Hotel Fährkrug is located directly on the lakefront.

It is a good place to stop for a meal, or to stay overnight and relax in the big wood sauna.

From here we travel on to Zaarsee. Once we have crossed all five of Templin’s lakes, we return towards Röddelinsee and the starting point of our tour.
