The water mill is majestically situated in the middle of the Naturpark Uckermärkische Seen (Uckermark Lakes Nature Park) in a quiet valley which in 2010 was awarded the Uckermärkischer Tourismuspreis (Uckermark tourism prize). Natural cycling and hiking trails start right outside its front door. The sun terrace by the splattering water wheel and the mill's courtyard are true havens of tranquillity.  Guests have use of the relaxing sauna. The mill is part of the "Natürlich Uckermark - Ferien fürs Klima" network of sustainable hosts.
