These red-brick houses were once home to the country estate of Potsdam’s royal head foresters. Today the facility continues to emanate its original charm, and also offers single, double and shared rooms furnished in a modern country style. Accessible rooms are also available. The restaurant in the former barn building with huge glass barn doors invites you to enjoy a rustic, country atmosphere. A large fieldstone fireplace brings warmth on cooler days. The rooms can be booked with breakfast and half or full board. Sufficient parking is available. Pets are allowed at a surcharge. There is also a barn boutique on the property.

The countryside hotel is nestled in the extraordinary landscape fashioned by the Ice Age, and provides a range of activities both close to nature and including visits to cultural and historical sites such as the protected lock facilities on the Finowkanal or the boat lift in Niederfinow.
